bit_slicer asked: So we’re thinking about remodeling the bathroom with new paint, new tile, new tub, and new countertops. What worries me is that we’re starting to see the tape lines on the walls. Is this something to be worried about? I was thinking about maybe sanding them down, apply a coat of primer and new coat of texture. Would this be enough?

titanman10vy asked: Last week-end I started my 50 HP Honda BF50A, ran it for about 5 minutes then stopped to jump in the lake. When I turned the ignition nothing happened at all. Even the Power trim would not operate. Had to be towed in.
This happened earlier in the season after I ran about a mile, but then it started after I let it sit for a couple of hours. After the first time i went out and bought 2 brand new deep cycle batteries.
The boat has been sitting in the slip in middle Tennessee for a couple of days now and still nothing. No ignition and no trim. The radio and horn works. I tried a screwdriver across the starter leads and got a big spark so I’m pretty sure I’ve got a good batteries.
Strange, to me anyway, it ran fine for about 2 months after I bought the new batteries but now here I am again. Any help would be geatly appreciated.
Thanks Jeff

arr1953 asked: 97 jeep cherokee, has power locks and windows. Most of the time the passenger windows(front or either back) will not be powered up or down using thier respective switches, can power them all from driver’s master switches. I’m thinking it could be related to child lockout switch. it is the only thing related to all of the windows. i’m thinking it could either be a loose connection or a shorting switch because it doesn’t do all the time, only about 75% of the time. Help frustrated.

New2This asked: My aunt is living in a house that I am the sole owner of but she tried to get a quote to get the kitchen remodeled and they ran a deed trace and only my name came up. They wouldn’t give her a quote because her name isn’t on the deed. Is there any other option like a power of attourney or something else that would be sufficient for things like this or does she have to be on the deed?

teodor d asked: Ok.. I own a malibu 2002. I have had some problems with the car not starting so I decided to do a few things about it. Changed plugs and plug wires, had the winterization on car checked and had a fuel pressure test done when the car is started cold. All tests checked out to be normal. Fuel pump works, spark I have plenty of.. etc.
I do however have a fault in the AC system. Because I live in Alaska, if I don’t necessarily have to fix the AC system(which may be very expensive in a FWD car) I would like not to fix it.
The fault is at yet undiagnosed, but every time that the 10AMP fuse for the AC compressor is put into its slot on the fuse box it burns out and it turns off my fuel gauge, engine temp gauge, and all dash background lights.
I was also told that on my car, the passlock II system is on a similar/interlinked circuit with the AC. In addition to this I was told that even with the AC”out of the system” by leaving the fuse not plugged in if I turn on the rear defroster, this turns on the AC compressor. With me not having a fuse in there and something wrong in the AC system this may cause an electrical overload and, this may trigger the car not to start. Basically every now and then when i try to start the car it turns over, but a few seconds later the fuel gauge drops to E and the empty light turns on. This is similar (I think) to a passlock II system engaging as you don’t have any fuel if the antitheft is engaged.
Do you think the cause of my problem might be what this mechanic described? Can It be something else?
Any other suggestions would be appreciated.

Jeff S asked: I have just finished removing the popcorn from the ceiling in my daughters room. While removing the acoustic, I scrapped up some of the edges of the drywall tape where the walls meet the ceiling. What is the best way to repair this? Is it possible to take an utility knife and cut out the lifted edges? I don’t want to re tape completely. Thank You in advance for taking the time to respond.
